Crescent Counselling Collective

Supporting you through life's phases of growth, healing, and change

Welcome

Two white women are sitting in a royal blue armchair against a dark grey background. Sitting in the chair is Sofia, with chin length blonde hair. She is smiling. On the right is Eleonora, sitting on the arm of the chair with her legs crossed and her hands resting in her lap. She has short red hair and is smiling.

We are Sofia Joensuu (she/her) and Eleonora Joensuu (she/her) – a sister team of mental health practitioners who are passionate about supporting people in their healing and growth. We started Crescent Counselling Collective because of our shared belief in the importance of safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental relationships for well-being. We work to offer our clients a counselling space and therapeutic relationship where your experiences, strengths, and needs are held with deep care and respect as we work collaboratively on what is important and meaningful for you.

We currently provide individual, relationship, and family counselling in British Columbia, Canada.

We offer virtual therapy services anywhere in BC and offer in-person therapy sessions in New Westminster, BC with Eleonora and in North Vancouver with Sofia.

We are located on the ancestral, unceded, and rightful lands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), Stó:lō, and Kwikwetlem First Nations. As white settlers on these lands, we have a commitment and responsibility to the people whose lands we are on through ongoing listening to Indigenous peoples, education, the redistribution of wealth, and supporting mutual aid efforts.

We look forward to hearing from you.
